Trains at Northpark

WE went to visit the Trains at Northpark which supports the Childrens hospital. Jace loves it and wanted to go through twice. I think I could have left him there all day. He was thrilled this year to see one with Ronald MacDonald- our new fav.

Gaylord- ICE

WE went to ICE. It's really cool. (literally- they keep it 9 degrees in order to keep all the sculptures frozen. They flew in some Chinese guys to make these and supposedly there is 2 million pounds of ice!! They give you these big warm coats. The theme this year was the GRINCH which I really wanted to see.

We traveled to Pilot Point this weekend and got to see some really cool animals UP CLOSE!! It was really cool to pet camels, zebras, donkeys, lemurs... We got to take a Zoo tram and see lots of baby animals.

Firetruck

Mom and I went to Lowes for their kids building event!! I got to build a Firetruck and the REAL Firemen were there with their big, shiny truck. I was very excited! Luke and his daddy were there too building his firetruck. It was lots of fun.

First day of Preschool

My baby is going to Preschool 2 days a week. He did well- no crying but not that enthused to go back- however he returned on Thurs!! But as much as mama wants the socialization- I don't want the yuck that goes with it! Friday night he had a cold!- Love germs.

Dad's Day Off!

Trips to the panhandle are always interesting. Jace was not fun for the 8 hr. drive. Might I say that I will now be buying the RECLINING car seat!! Fun with Pops feeding the fish and ducks on the golf course and of course being in the "Super Fast Car!!"

Mom and Dad played Hookie from work and we met up with Mimi and Papa, Dana and Macie at the Arboretum. We had great fun playing and having a picnic. It was a perfect Texas Day- light breeze and 80 degrees!! What a way to spend the day!

Mema and Pepa got me a motorized John Deere Tractor. Wow is it cool. I was a little scared at first but grew to love it and hated when nap time rolled around.

We adventured to Home Depot and discovered that we could build a project. It was SOOOO exciting. I got to hammer a lot and build a mini wheelbarrow! I even got a orange apron to which I love sporting around!

I have gotten so excited about Jace really getting into Christmas that I have basically taken him to every cool event within a 30 mile radius! This week we had a 70 degree day that I just couldn't resist taking him to see Santa's reindeer. Donner and Blitzen to be exact. He LOVED it. Almost as much as the holiday Train exhibit they have every year at NorthPark. We went through it twice and he still cried when we left! What a great thing for the Ronald MacDonald house. This was also our second visit with Santa (as this one looks much more real and his chair was leather!)

We went Trick or Treating on the Square. What a crazy night. At first, I wasn't sure what was going on with all these people dressed up but then when the candy started flowing, I was digging this game!! When I would get in the car I would tell mom "more candy!"

I went with Luke to the Pumpkin Patch last week and had a BIG time! We got to feed cows, goats, sheep and a longhorn! Then we went on a hayride pulled by a John Deere tractor- my favorite.
